Children have direct and sustained interaction with nature every day. Each day includes a class gathering, free exploration time, guided experiences, a nature walk, story, and snack. Traditional specials, such as art and music, are organically woven throughout each day’s activities. While every day includes these components, how much time is spent in each activity is flexible.
